The emergency originated due to the "1933 Banker Emergency Act" which the Roosevelt administration was behind the passing of. (a.k.a. 48 Statute 1) declares that, United States of America in a State of EMERGENCY.

NOW the Emergency is 79 Years Old!

There is no, "Sunset Clause" on this emergency. Every, President when first sworn into office immediately signs "executive orders", so the first one is to extend or reestablish the State of Emergency, then anything goes.
